Arriving patrol officers located an adult male lying in the parking lot of a business suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Medical personnel arrived and transported the victim to umc trauma where he was later pronounced deceased. Detectives from the lvmpd’s homicide section learned that the victim and an adult female were parked on the street inside of a vehicle when they were approached by a black male adult holding a firearm. The suspect demanded her property and that she and the victim exit the vehicle. Upon exiting the vehicle, the victim ran away at which point the suspect ran after the victim. The suspect began to shoot at the victim striking him multiple times where he collapsed in the parking lot of a business. The suspect was described as a black male adult 25 to 35 years of age, with a thin build.Agency
