Nygel Gibbs

Age

39

Cause of Death

Homicide

Info

On 01/23/2010 a fatal shooting occurred at the gin mill bar in beavercreek, oh. Based on investigation and witness accounts, the shooting seems to be the result of an argument that occurred earlier in the bar between the deceased and an unknown black male. When the bar closed, the altercation spilled out into the parking lot where a gunfight took place with nineteen shots being fired from two different caliber handguns. Three of those rounds struck the decedent. The suspect was described by witnesses as being a young black male, 18-20 years of age, about 5'11" to 6'0" in height and a slender athletic build. The age description would be accurate as the shooter had a large x on his hand which was the bar's mark for an underage person. The suspect then got in a white or silver late 90's ford explorer. At this time, several tips and leads were followed up on in both the dayton and columbus, ohio areas with none proving fruitful.
